Fuente: http://cseries.com/ftv2-fly-by-wire-in-normal-mode-check/Bombardier today confirmed another significant milestone for the CSeries program. Flight test vehicle two (FTV2) has now successfully completed a series of flights with the fly-by-wire (FBW) system operating in “normal mode.” The switch over was done during flight testing at Bombardier’s facility in Mirabel, Québec in September 2014. Early flight tests results to date look very promising! Flight test validation will continue to expand the flight envelope in “normal mode” per the flight schedule.
“Operation in ‘normal mode’ is how commercial pilots would fly the aircraft in daily operation. It enhances flying by providing functionality that reduces the pilots’ workload, improves flying response for increased passenger comfort and introduces additional safety features in normal day-to-day operation,” said Rob Dewar, Vice President, CSeries Aircraft Program, Bombardier Commercial Aircraft.
