The latest FAA transaction documents reveal that Gulfstream have delivered G650 msn 6013, but then leased it back for use as a company demonstrator.
Originally ordered on 13th March 2008, msn 6013 has the registration N650PH reserved against it and was due to go to Florida based Universal Jet Aviation. The aircraft had made it’s way down to Ft Lauderdale Executive airport on December 27th under its test registration of N613GD, and was pictured several times being shown off to companies based at the airport. However the aircraft departed later in the same day back to Savannah, where, apart from several test flights, it’s remained ever since.
The documents filed with the FAA dated December 27th 2012 show that the aircraft was delivered to Gulfstream 650 LLC, but then leased back to Gulfstream on the same day. The documents also state that the lease is for up to 9 months and that the aircraft will be used as a company demonstrator.
